Paul Griswold
Paul Griswold is an 11th and 12th grade English teacher at Bulkeley High School in Hartford, CT. Paul is a member of the Nellie Mae Professional Learning Community and Student Centered Learning Work Group. Through this work group, Paul had the opportunity to pilot a blended learning classroom experience with his 11th graders and develop his own understanding of how this new style of teaching can better serve his students. Professionally, he seeks to expand ways to increase the use of technology in his classroom and the classrooms of colleagues. Paul was a presenter at the Hartford Area Symposium on Blended Learning and demonstrated his blended classroom to the Connecticut State Commissioner of Education. Paul earned a BA in English from the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Connecticut, as well as a BS in Secondary English Education and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the Neag School of Education at the University of Connecticut.

Justin Taylor
Justin Taylor is an 11th and 12th grade social studies teacher at Bulkeley High School. Justin is a member of the Nellie Mae Professional Learning Community and Student-Centered Learning Work Group, where he has worked with members of the Bulkeley and Hartford Public School community to improve the use of educational technology in the classroom. Justin participated in a community discussion on blended learning and its impact on instructional outcomes at the Hartford Area Symposium on Blended Learning, and was part of an interdisciplinary blended learning panel discussion for the Connecticut State Commissioner of Education. He was recently named Hartford’s Teacher of the Year, and is always seeking ways to remain innovative in the classroom by leveraging technology to improve instruction and assessment. Justin is a graduate of Vassar College, where he earned a BA in Political Science and Economics, and has a law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
